Make your favourite porridge, oatmeal or brownies. Then add homemade caramel.

Preparation time: 10 minutes

  • 10 medjool dates
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ⅓ cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon mesquite powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • water if necessary for mixing

Puree all the ingredients in a blender. Store it in a fridge in a closed jar. Before re-using the caramel, heat it over steam if needed because it becomes solid when cold.
